Lauren Godfrey’s Pattern Portraits
Our friend, the artist Lauren Godfrey, shares our passion for pattern and has recently launched her Pattern Portraits project.
It's a weekly podcast where Lauren's guests talk about their work and the patterns that inspire them. And each week, Lauren shares details of the limited edition print she has created, inspired by her guest's stories and chosen patterns.
Mark Hearld was a recent guest, talking about, amongst others, designs by Ben Nicholson, Peggy Angus and Comme Des Garçons. He also discusses rhythms in patterns, the lack of shocking pink at Kettle's Yard and ways of engineering randomness.
We've had the pleasure of working with Mark for a number of years, creating a range of fabrics and wallpapers, including Harvest Hare and Doveflight.
You can listen to the podcast below - or head over to Lauren's website to find out more about the project and Lauren's other guests.
